We surprised John at the FSW Golf Tournament with his award!

John worked for Children Protective Services of Monroe County for 34 years. He is currently the FSW Retirees Council President and Co Owner of Edge Advertising Group, which serves the Federation of Social Workers through public relations, social media, event planning, and more.

John has been dedicating his work to the union for many years. He has planned numerous events from the annual Federation of Social Workers Golf Tournament, which benefits our scholarships winners and nonprofits: Alyssa's Angels and Christopher's Challenge. He also organizes our Human Service Worker of the Year Awards, which highlights individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions of service to those in need in our community, stories that we may not know about.

John has spent many years advocating for social workers in our community. We are very appreciative of John's work and we thank him!
